Eliminating the risk of printed board documents being lost or seen by unauthorised persons, Blueprint OnBoard is much safer than paper, offering:

• true enterprise-class security logon authentication including password histories, complex passwords, forced password expiry, intruder-lockout and inactive account lockout.
• two-factor authentication requiring "something you know", such as password, and "something you have", such as a digital certificate, for the logon to be successful.
• security roles that defines what actions a user can perform and what fields of data a user has access to.
• network security by supporting the HTTPS Communications protocol (HTTP over SSL) to provide secure, encrypted data submission between browser and web browser.

In addition, ICSA Software has teamed up with Oracle to reinforce its security. Its software, Oracle IRM gives companies the option to "seal" documents such that they can only be viewed if authenticated online, even if the documents are copied to a laptop.

In the same way, documents can be set to expire after a period of time and can be blocked from either being printed or captured on-screen.
