About Blueprint OneWorld:
Blueprint OneWorld represents over three years of development work by our global applications development team. The product was designed to deliver a multi-jurisdictional company secretarial and corporate record management application for global organisations that were potentially looking to centralise their corporate compliance data to one location. At the product's early design stages our development team were insistent that OneWorld had to support a variety of technical platforms. We wanted users of the application to not only be able to harness, what at the time was the new emerging Internet technologies that promised so much, but also standard Windows desktop environments and Terminal and Citrix servers. As we progressed through the development cycle the Internet boom got bigger and bigger, and we constantly reappraised our decision to continue to support what many said was the finished technology of the Windows platform. Numerous calls were made to drop the multi-platform approach we had adopted and produce an Internet only based product. However, many times I heard from our team, the phrase 'real solutions for real issues'.

Today we are all (many painfully!) aware of the Internet boom and bust. What has emerged from those heady days of wild promises is a technology platform that is still maturing. However the promises being made today are more realistic; the functionality is starting to become available in a format that offers true productivity, and at a speed that is acceptable to many users.

Considering the speed of communications, development toolkits available for Internet platforms, the level and speed of functionality available in pure Internet-based environments, and the existing technical infrastructures found in many organisations, we believe the Internet is a platform to be embraced not just on its own, but alongside other solutions.

Promises of what an Internet product might be able to do, can in no way supplement what a user needs to do today, in quite possibly a non-internet environment. As the industry leaders we believe that it is necessary to offer modern, fast and feature rich functionality available in other user platforms and environments.

To this end, Blueprint OneWorld is not just Internet-based product, it fully supports users that have other platforms and environments they wish to work from, or even users with a mixture of technology platforms. Furthermore, the Blueprint OneWorld solution does not compromise the high level of functionality offered traditionally by the purely desktop-based application.
