Now that we have become the first international provider to offer our Irish users the capability to file annual returns electronically, you can take advantage of a 20 rebate for each completed transaction.
The refund will be paid by the Companies Registration Office (CRO) as a reward for businesses electing to file annual returns electronically up until 31st December 2003.
To qualify for the cash rebate, you simply use your updated Blueprint software (already dispatched free to users with support and maintenance contracts) to conveniently and quickly prepare annual returns, have them electronically signed using the director or secretary ID and PIN supplied by the CRO, and click send to file the return.
Blueprint will even automatically produce a cover sheet assigned with a unique bar code. Once dispatched with the appropriate accounts paperwork, the serial number on the cover page ensures that the CRO is able to match the hard copy documents to the corresponding annual return. The electronic method further enables you to effortlessly track the status of returns and receive automatic notification of documents returned by the CRO.
By facilitating quick and reliable compliance from any location, electronic filing should also make it easier for you to avoid the new 1200 late filing fee. The CRO even gives you an extra 28 days, from the time of filing electronically, to register additional hard copy accounts.
