As the Institute’s own Software Company, we are constantly kept up-to-date with regulatory changes in the industry and developments in the profession. In addition, we are frequently invited to participate in projects with Companies House in the United Kingdom and the CRO in the Republic of Ireland. Our links to these bodies and the constant input of our many users, ensures that we are able to develop products in line with the modern Company Secretary’s needs. As the software company of the Institute, we are proud of the service and support that we provide to both our members and non-members alike.
With more than 2200 clients in twelve jurisdictions, we believe that we are the largest company secretarial supplier in the world. In the UK alone, our products are used by 79 of the FTSE 100, many large Corporates, Accountants and Solicitors. However, our user base is not restricted to just FTSE 100 companies and large accounting and legal firms. Over 50% of the FTSE 250 also uses our software, showing, we believe that we are able to provide effective global software compliance solutions for businesses of all types and sizes.
Covering many jurisdictions with our true multi-jurisdictional applications we are continually adding support for other countries. More and more companies outside of the UK recognise that, as the world leader in the provision of company secretarial and corporate governance skills, ICSA and its software subsidiary are the natural choice to entrust their corporate data to.
Supplying software is, however, only part of the role that we play. We also adhere to an extensive customer care program, providing resources for, local jurisdiction telephone support, a wide range of training courses, installation services, and industry advice and insight, that can only come from being part of The ICSA.

The History of the Company
ICSA Software was founded in 1993 to help control the commercial software operations of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
Formed in 1891, The Institute is an independent, self-regulating body operating under a Royal Charter. It sets training and performance standards for professional administrators and company secretaries throughout the world. A large part of The Institute’s work is ensuring that its members receive continuing professional support and updates on changes in company law. In order to help its members further, The Institute decided in 1984, to develop a software package to automate some of the company secretary’s more repetitive tasks, such as completing statutory forms and keeping registers up-to-date. The original BLUEPRINT Company Secretary software package was launched in 1986 and ICSA Software has been the market-leader in the provision of global corporate and company secretarial software ever since.

Divided into three dedicated groups working on Desktop applications, Internet based products and overseas forms and support, our development teams have an unrivalled knowledge of software technologies, their expertise ensure our products remain ‘leading edge’ but retain a reputation for ease of use, with extensive levels of functionality and reliability
The Sales and Marketing Team
To ensure our clients benefit from the maximum specialist knowledge we have, our sales and marketing team is departmentalised to cover the many different products and locations we support. Business Consultants ensure that our clients are offered the right products to meet their many differing needs. In order to make sure we really understand your needs, our consultants will come out to your offices to assess your situation, discuss your requirement with our own technical consultants and then propose the right solution tailored specifically for you.
The Training TeamAll new ICSA Software clients are at the time of software installation trained either on-site or at our new-dedicated training facilities in London. Further advanced and refresher training is available, again either off or on-site.
We place a great deal of importance on ensuring the delivery of detailed training, and making sure that our trainers understand not just how our software operates. Trainers will also take time to clearly understand the true requirements of the operators of the system, whom they are training, ensuring they get the maximum benefit from their investment in our software.

Mainly based in our Southampton office, our administration team ensures efficient management of contracts, accounts and product dispatch.
